After about seven months in the position, City Manager Sharon A. Addison should know soon what the Watertown City Council thinks about the job she’s doing.

Council members met last Monday night in executive session for about an hour to discuss job evaluations of the city manager and City Clerk Ann M. Saunders. Plans call for a resolution to be presented to council members at tonight’s special meeting and for them to vote on their findings.

“I think it’s fair to say we’re very satisfied with them,” Mayor Jeffrey E. Graham said Tuesday.

By City Charter, the City Council must finish the job evaluations for the positions by March 1.

According to the process, council members asked for a list of accomplishments from both city officials and then reviewed the information individually with them. They also provided council members with a list of goals, the mayor said.

Ms. Addison was hired in May to the $120,000-a-year position and started in July.

She replaced longtime City Manager Mary M. Corriveau, whose contract was not renewed by the City Council in January 2012.

Ms. Addison was employed at the National Security Agency at Fort George G. Meade, Md., for 27 years, the last six as special source operations manager.

In July 2011, Mrs. Saunders was appointed city clerk, replacing Donna M. Dutton, who retired after 21 years.
