OGDENSBURG — An Ogdensburg man was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with an alleged theft at an auto store here, St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies said.

Derek A. Claxton, 40, was charged with two counts of petit larceny following a complaint from the owner of Gillee’s Auto, Truck and Marine, deputies said.

A Sheriff’s Department news release did not indicate what may have been taken, nor the value of the items.

Mr. Claxton is to appear in Oswegatchie Town Court to answer the charges.
