OGDENSBURG — A city resident was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with an alleged theft at an auto store, St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Derek A. Claxton, 40, was charged with two counts of petit larceny following a complaint from the owner of Gille’s Auto, Truck and Marine, 1301 State St., deputies said.

A Sheriff’s Office media release did not indicate what may have been taken, nor the value of those items.

Mr. Claxton is to appear in Oswegatchie Town Court March 13 to answer the charges.
