POTSDAM — SUNY Potsdam men’s hockey players Shane Talarico and Billy Pascalli earned SUNYAC honors after the Bears swept SUNY Brockport and SUNY Geneseo over the weekend.

Talarico, a junior, made 22 saves off the bench the Bears 4-3 overtime win over Brockport on Friday after starter Jon Hall was injured. Talarico then stopped 24 shots in his first career collegiate start to help Potsdam to 4-3 overtime victory against Geneseo on Saturday.

Pascalli was named freshman of the week after notching the game-winning goal in overtime against the Golden Eagles, his first career game-winner.
