Mrs. Eileen Mary Sullivan, age 60 of Parishville, NY passed away on February 14, 2013 at her home while under the care of her family and Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley. Funeral services will be held at the Garner Funeral Service on Monday, February 18th at noon with Rev. Lee Sweeney celebrant. Burial will take place in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Sunday the 17th from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Parishville Volunteer Fire Dept., the Parishville Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary or to the Hospice and Palliative Care of the St. Lawrence Valley. Online condolences can be sent @www.garnerfh.com.

Eileen is survived by her loving husband of 44 years James R. Sullivan Sr.; her father Wayne Bush; sons Brian (Heather) Sullivan and Kevin Sullivan and his companion Elizabeth Boshane; daughter in law Jill Sullivan; brothers Kim, Timothy and Thomas Bush; sisters Elaine Lavare and Velora Waite; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son James R. Sullivan Jr., her mother Marion Bush and a brother Marshall Bush.

Eileen Mary Sullivan was born on March 13, 1952 in Potsdam, NY to Wayne and Marion Stark Bush. She was a 1968 graduate of Parishville-Hopkinton Central School. On August 31, 1968 at St. Mary’s Church she was married to James R. Sullivan. She worked for many years at the Potsdam Nursing Home and then for over ten years for SUNY Potsdam before retiring in 2011.

She was a former member of the Parishville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and listening to good old fashioned country music.
