Max Mobley notched a hat trick and Peter Campbell dished out four assists as the Thousand Islands Privateers beat the Danville Dashers, 4-1, in a Federal Hockey League game at the Watertown Municipal Ice Arena on Friday night.
The win puts Thousand Islands (21-25) two points ahead of Danville (19-30), and the Privateers have won consecutive games for the first time since beating the New York Bluefins on Jan. 19 and 24.
Mobley scored 57 seconds into the game, and then struck again 11:45 into the second period to build a 2-0 lead.
After Danvilles Paul Weisser scored at 12:17, Adam McAllister scored his team-leading 30th goal to provide Thousand Islands with a 3-1 lead at 15:23. Mobley then finished off the scoring 11:57 into the third. Matt Anthony stopped 33 shots for the second night in a row. Former Privateers goalie Peter Dundovich had 25 saves for Danville.
The Privateers play at Danbury at 7:35 tonight and will return to host Danbury on Monday at 6:05 p.m.
