Motorists accused of drunken driving

The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Maya D. Gossett, 31, of 31285 Gardnerville Road, Evans Mills, also was cited by state police with crossing hazard markings at 2 a.m. Wednesday on Route 11 in the town of Pamelia. Police listed her blood alcohol content as 0.11 percent. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.

n David E. Bovee, 51, Sandy Creek, was charged by state police with felony DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 2:33 a.m. Saturday on Route 264 in the town of Palermo. He was taken to Oswego County jail, Oswego, on $1,500 bail. The charge was a felony because of a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years, police said.

n Sara J. Morehouse, 37, Potsdam, was charged by state police at 6:34 p.m. Feb. 8 on Route 345 in the town of Potsdam, where she was accused of changing lanes unsafely. Her BAC was not available.

n Tracy L. Morin, 48, of 75 Beach St., Apt. 1, Massena, was charged Friday night by Massena village police on East Orvis Street. She was accused of running a red light. Her BAC was not available.

n William A. Ekman, 30, of 65 Worden Road, Brier Hill, was charged by state police at 4:33 a.m. Saturday after driving off Cedar Street in Ogdensburg, police said. His BAC was listed as 0.20 percent.
