OCALA, Fla_ Watertown native Tim McCreadie finished second in Friday night’s World of Outlaws late model race on the first night of the Winter Nationals at Bubba Raceway Park.

After a slow start to begin the 2013 season last week in Georgia, McCreadie had a better outcome Friday night. He started sixth in the feature race.

Darrell Lanigan of Union, Ky. won the race. McCreadie was only 1.410 second behind Lanigan when he crossed the finish line..

Tim Fuller of Watertown finished 17th after starting 16th in the race.
