A 16-year-old girl is summoned to appear in Watertown City Court after police allege she punched a boy her age in the back of the head several times, injuring him, at Watertown High School.
Bethany L. Hurst, 16, of 411 Stone St., was charged Friday with harassment, city police said Wednesday.
Police allege that early the afternoon of Feb. 13, Miss Hurst approached the boy, 16, then slapped him in the face and punched him several times in the back of the head, causing scalp bruises.
Asked about motive, a police spokesman said the incident stemmed from name-calling and typical high school drama.
