The Interventional Pain Management Center will host a free pain management seminar from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at its office on the third floor of the Watertown Medical Office Building, 826 Washington St.

A partnership between Samaritan Medical Center and Jefferson Anesthesiologist Services, the pain management center is devoted to providing management of chronic pain, which is intense pain that makes working, sleeping or maintaining a high quality of life difficult, according to Samaritan’s website.

Dr. Ivan Montalvo, pain management services medical director, will lead the seminar with a presentation on spinal column stimulation for pain relief.
