A tight game was made more comfortable for St. Lawrence Central (16-4-1) when leading scorer Luke Arquiett scored two goals in the final 48.1 seconds of the second period, snapping a 1-1 tie and leading the Larries to a 6-1 win in the Division II final at Cheel Arena.
Arquiett scored his first goal with 48.1 seconds left and then scored again with 0.1 on the clock.
The third period featuring another Larries outburst as SLC scored three goals in 3:37 to turn the game into a rout.
Nathan Stickney started the spurt with a power-play goal at 8:06.

Ian Lynch then followed with goals at 8:35 and 11:43 to complete a hat trick. He also scored the first goal of the game for the Larries at 8:47 of the first period.

Sunday's win was the second Section 10 title in four years for the Larries, who also claimed the title in 2010.
Larries Celebrate
St. Lawrence Central will host Section 5's Webster Thomas in a state quarterfinal at a time to be announced Saturday.
