Because the Clarkson women's hockey team is hosting an ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series against Rensselaer this weekend they are also included in this week's Clarkson Video Report.

The men's team is in seventh place in the conference standings with two games remaining, at Rensselaer and at Union. Clarkson still has a chance to finish in the top four and earn a first-round bye but it also could slip out of the top eight and open next weekend's playoffs on the road.

Women's Report

Clarkson is the No. 2 seed in the women's tournament and hosts No. 7 RPI in a best-of-three series this weekend. Friday's game is at 7 p.m. and Saturday's is at 4 p.m. If a third game is needed it would be at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The Golden Knights are also positioned to make the eight-team women's NCAA Tournament and could possibly host an NCAA quarterfinal game.
