AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Dean J. Maza, 36, of 106 Liberty Ave., Massena, with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle without a required interlock device following a drinking and driving conviction and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with operation of a vehicle with an inadequate tail lights at 11:40 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on North Main Street. He was then turned over to Massena-based state police. Troopers picked up Maza on an arrest warrant charging him with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, violating the conditions of his conditional license and operation of a motor vehicle without a required interlock device following a drinking and driving conviction. He was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow, and bail was set at $500 cash or $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear at 5:30 p.m. March 6 in Louisville Town Court.



NO SEATBELT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Katherine A. Legros, 42, of 16 Haskell St., Massena for operation of a vehicle with inadequate brake lamps and failure to wear her seatbelt at 1:35 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Beach Street at Park Avenue.



INADEQUATE STOP LAMPS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Chad J. Bowles, 36, of Massena for operation of a vehicle with inadequate stop lamps at 1:36 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.



STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Andrew R. Post, 34, of Massena for a stop sign violation at 8:35 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Parker Avenue near Alvern.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Kerri-Lyn Craig, 34, of Second Street, Cornwall, Ont., for speed in zone at 8:21 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on state Route 37.
