HENDERSON — Floyd G. “Sonny” Cole, 82, Harborview Apts., Henderson and formerly of Belleville, passed away March 1st at the Samaritan Medical Center,

Graveside services will be held in the spring in Woodside Cemetery, Belleville. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.

Floyd was born in Ogdensburg, August 30, 1930, a son to Floyd and Cora Grow Cole Sr... He moved to Belleville with his family where he graduated from Union Academy Belleville in 1950. Floyd ran a dairy farm on the Mixer Road, Belleville for 50 years retiring in 1999.

Floyd was a member of the Belleville Rising Light Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by a sister, Clara Atkinson, Harrisville. Many nieces and nephews to include Sherry (Kenneth) Hearnes, Watertown; Richard (Shelene) Atkinson, Harrisville; Lance Atkinson, Alba, TX.

Floyd was predeceased by two sisters, Lillian Agnes Sly and Estella Tuttle.
