PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police charged Brittney N. Sienkwicz, 25, of Potsdam with two counts of petit larceny at 3:25 p.m. Thursday following an investigation into a complaint of employee theft from the owner of a downtown business. Information provided by the employer and subsequent investigation by the police department revealed Sienkwicz stole products from the business in late January and early February.

BENCH WARRANT - POTSDAM - Village police said Elizabeth M. Laraby, 21, of Potsdam was picked up on a bench warrant held by the Potsdam Police Department by SUNY Potsdam Police at 6:55 p.m. Thursday when she was on the SUNY campus. She was turned over to Potsdam Police on the bench warrant issued after she allegedly violation the conditions of her probation. She was arraigned in Potsdam Village Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $500 cash or $1,000 bond.
