MASSENA — Robert J. Mackerer, 43, of 387 S. Main St., Apt. 4, was charged by village police with trespass, disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana at 6:43 a.m. Saturday.

Police said Mr. Mackerer attempted to enter the apartment of his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend at 492 S. Main St., Apt. 1, without permission. Neither person was identified by police.

Police said that when they arrived, Mr. Mackerer was intoxicated and kicking and pounding on the door while screaming, and that they found marijuana in his pockets.

He is scheduled to appear in Massena Village Court.
