PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Carrie L. Burnor, 26, of 259 Center St., Massena, with petit larceny at 10:10 p.m. Sunday following an investigation into a March 5 incident at the Massena Wal-Mart store. She reportedly left the store that day without paying for $34.92 worth of merchandise. Loss prevention agents from the store told police the shoplifted items included Sponge Bob party favors, a seat cover and a clip for sunglasses.
NO INSURANCE - MASSENA - Village police charged Raymond J. Hebert, 42, of 88 Woodlawn Ave., Massena, for operation of a vehicle with no insurance and a suspended registration following a traffic stop at 4:11 p.m. Sunday on East Orvis Street.
NO INSURANCE - MASSENA - Village police charged Kevin D. OBrien, 21, of 14 Pine St., Massena, for operation of a vehicle with no insurance and a suspended registration following a traffic stop at 3:46 p.m. Sunday on Main Street.
UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Louis P. McClure Jr., 54, of Massena for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 3:15 a.m. Sunday on East Orvis Street.
