LOWVILLE A West Leyden woman in Lewis County Court on Friday was entered into the countys Drug Court program after admitting to twice driving drunk.
Michelle A. Heranney, 48, of 6670 Route 294, was arraigned on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and pleaded guilty to all of them. She then signed a Drug Court contract.
Ms. Heranney was stopped Aug. 29 and Jan. 1, both times on Route 26 in the town of Lewis.
Also in Lewis County Court on Friday:
Samantha Hoffert, 23, of 1992 East Road, Boonville, was sentenced to three years probation and $250 in court fees on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment, to which she pleaded guilty Feb. 1.
She was accused of entering the home of Katelyn Ward on Route 12 in the town of Leyden Nov. 8 and punching Ms. Ward.
David R. Daniels, 42, of 6820 McAlpine St., Lyons Falls, was arraigned on a charge of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge, a $200 fine and $200 in court fees.
Mr. Daniels was stopped June 21 in the town of West Turin.
Daniel S. Rounds, 29, of 7178 Murphy Road, Port Leyden, was arraigned on two counts apiece of first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child and single counts of first-degree criminal sexual act and forcible touching and pleaded innocent. His case was adjourned to May 17, and Judge Daniel R. King issued a temporary order of protection on the alleged victims behalf.
The suspect was accused of having oral sex with a child under the age of 11 between June and September 2008 in the village of Port Leyden and inappropriately touching the child in November in the town of Lyonsdale.
Patrick J. Elliott, 37, of 518 W. Main St., Apt. A, Watertown, was arraigned on charges of first- and second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child and pleaded innocent. His case was adjourned to May 17, and Judge King issued a temporary order of protection on the alleged victims behalf. He was accused of having sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 15 on Dec. 9 in the town of West Turin.
Cameron Carter, 44, of 10241 Plank Road, Copenhagen, was arraigned and pleaded innocent on charges of felony DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, refusal to submit to a breath test, having no license plate and failure to keep right. His case was adjourned to April 19. He was stopped Jan. 22 on River Road in the town of Pinckney.
Benjamin R. Gallo, 37, Ava, had his case of two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and single counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle adjourned to April 12, with a possible trial date set for June 24.
He was accused of possessing ketamine, Ecstasy and hashish at a traffic stop Aug. 12 on Route 26 in the town of Turin during the moe.down music festival at Snow Ridge Ski Resort.
In a case handled Friday by acting County Judge Donald E. Todd:
Billie J. Wilmot, 35, of 9624 Main St., had his case adjourned to Friday, with a possible trial date set for June 10. He is charged with first-degree criminal sex act, two counts apiece of third-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse, four counts of third-degree sexual abuse and five counts of third-degree criminal sex act.
Mr. Wilmot was accused of having improper sexual relations with two girls under the age of 17, one from September 2010 to December 2011 and the other from February to April.
