Jimmy Arias, 25, no address available, was charged Monday morning by state police with first-degree possession of prison contraband and violating public health law in connection with a Feb. 25 incident at the Cape Vincent Correctional Facility.

He is accused of bringing synthetic marijuana into the prison and defecating it into some rubber gloves. He remains in the correctional facility on the charge.
