To The Editor:
Celebrating 100 years of theft. Yes, that is what the Federal Reserve has been doing since its founding in 1913 through the income tax. Prior to the income tax, the federal government raised money through tariffs on imported goods and land sales. Yet the Federal Reserve is no more part of the federal government than the Federal Express is. This is one of the many lies that come out of Washington, D.C. The Federal Reserve is a collection of private banks that prints money out of thin air and charges the taxpayer interest. That is where the money goes that is earmarked on your pay stub (federal withholding). It goes to pay the $15 trillion debt owed to the reserve.
To prove that the Federal Reserve is not part of the government, the Federal Reserve has 12 banks that are located in cities around the country. Go to www.federalreserveonline.org. You will not find these banks in government pages in the phone book, but in the banking section of the Yellow Pages. For more information on this subject, go to www.americafreedomtofascism.com to get the DVD, or watch American: Freedom to Fascism on www.youtube.com.
There are a couple of bills pending in both houses of Congress to audit the Fed. In the Senate, S.209 Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2013, is sponsored by Senator Rand Paul. In the House, H.R. 24 Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2013, is sponsored by Paul Broun. The U.S. Treasury should be doing its job and print the money. There would be no national debt for the president and Congress to fight over. While honorable law enforcement patrols our country to prevent robbery, they, too, are being robbed by the Federal Reserve system.
