Gouverneur police arrested Daniel E. Miller, 28, of 78 Spencer St., at 5:38 p.m. Saturday on charges of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers stopped a vehicle in which he was a passenger and found him to be in possession of one Tramadol pill and a number of Suboxone strips, which police say he intended to sell.

He was arraigned at 9:40 p.m. Saturday at the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, and held there on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
