CANTON Jury selection began Tuesday in St. Lawrence County Court in the trial of a Waddington man accused of sexually assaulting three women in 2010.
James A. Sabre Jr., 45, of 56 Oak St., was indicted by a grand jury in May on charges of felony second-degree burglary, second-degree burglary as a sexually motivated crime, four counts of felony first-degree attempted rape and felony first-degree sexual abuse.
Sabre is accused of sexually assaulting three women in the town of Waddington, ages 24, 28 and 42, according to court documents.
Five jurors were seated on Tuesday, with the process set to resume this morning.
