ONE VEHICLE ACCIDENT - PARISHVILLE - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Marah S. Butterfield of 1569 Old Potsdam-Parishville Road, Potsdam,with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed her for speed not reasonable and prudent following an investigation into a one-vehicle property damage accident at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 72 in the town of Parishville. Deputies said Butterfield lost control of a 2008 Pontiac on slippery roads, struck the guardrails on the right hand side,and her vehicle then spun around coming to rest facing the opposite direction in the left hand lane. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the accident scene by Parishville F ire.
