The Sterling Renaissance Festival has scheduled auditions for its professional interactive improvisational troupe, the Bless the Mark Players.
The festival seeks 28 experienced male and female actors, ages 18 to 50, to portray Elizabethan characters and perform interactive improvisation and scenarios in period outdoor amphitheaters and throughout the lanes of the festival at Farden Road in Sterling, Cayuga County, about 15 miles from Oswego.
The contract commitment runs 10 weeks, from June 7 to Aug. 19.
Auditions are from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Room 240, Syracuse Stage, 820 E. Genesee St. Callback is the same day.
Those auditioning should bring a resume and headshot and prepare a one-minute comic monologue. Strong improvisation and comic skills are a must.
