Three Watertown women were charged by state police on Thursday after they allegedly took alcohol from a JR’s Discount Liquors in Seaway Plaza, Route 11.

Charged with petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy were Amber L. Heise, 21, of 1520 Huntington St., S1; Bethany D. Reczko, 19, of 226 N. Meadow St.; and Renee M. Daniels, 19, of 1620 Huntington St., P4.

State police said the three women acted together March 15 to distract a sales clerk so they could take bottles of booze.

All three were given appearance tickets for Pamelia Town Court.
