Tyeisha A. Bowman, 30, of 86 Public Square, was charged by Watertown police Thursday night at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with second-degree criminal contempt.

Police said she violated the terms of a Family Court order of protection by having contact with Gail A. Tripp at her place of employment earlier in the day.

Ms. Bowman was held pending arraignment.
