The 37th annual Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Expo opens today for its traditional three-day run at the Edgar A. Newell II Golden Dome at Ogdensburg Free Academy.
The doors open at 3 p.m. and will stay open until 9 p.m.
Saturdays Expo activities run from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. The finale on Sunday begins at noon and winds down at 4:30 p.m.
Anticipation is in the air again.
Its all set for a great event, said Thomas P. Luckie Jr., the clubs executive director.
More than 100 vendors, businesses and crafters are signed up to attend the annual trade show.
There is also the ongoing sale of $10 tickets for Expos grand prize giveaway. First prize in this years raffle will be $5,000 cash, courtesy of Blevins Auto Group. Along with the first prize of $5,000, other prizes include two, $1,500 gift certificates from Gardners Flooring and Furniture, a $1,300 gift certificate from Triple A Building Centers, a family membership (for four) to Northern Physical Therapy, a $1,000 gift certificate to Carbinos Jewelers, a $1,000 Savings Bond from NBT Bank and $1,000 donated by Phillips Diner.
The winners will be announced at the Expos conclusion on Sunday.
Proceeds will help support the programs and opportunities that the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club provides to the youth.
