Watertown couple wins IHC’s raffle

Chris and Julie LaPointe, Watertown, are the winners of Immaculate Heart Central School’s Dodge Challenger Raffle.

Their ticket was selected Friday at the city’s North Country Goes Green Irish Festival. According to a released statement from the school, they chose to accept $20,000 in cash, one of the raffle’s options.

The money was be presented at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart Junior/Senior High School.

“All proceeds from the raffle will go toward IHC’s scholarship fund for local families,” according to the statement. The raffle was co-sponsored this year by FX Caprara and Sons, which also donated $2,500 to the scholarship fund at the festival Friday.
