Pierrepont Manor woman charged with forgery

A Pierrepont Manor woman faces multiple charges for using her grandmother’s checks and credit card without permission, according to state police.

Rebecca S. Keegan, 27, of 15952 County Route 91, was charged at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday with two counts of second-degree forgery, one count of first-degree identity theft, one count of third-degree grand larceny, one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and one count of petit larceny.

According to police, Ms. Keegan forged the signature of Beverly A. Wilson, whose address was not listed, from July 1 to Sept. 1 at area businesses, spending about $3,653.97.

Already imprisoned on separate charges in Oswego, Ms. Keegan was arraigned before adams Town Justice Donald B. Shaw in Adams Town Court before being returned to the Oswego County Public Safety Building on $5,000 bail, pending grand jury action.
