The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Garry G. Thompson, 30, of 241 Breen Ave., Apt. B, was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies at 12:32 a.m. Sunday after being involved in a property damage accident on Eacho Drive and fleeing the scene, deputies said. He later was located in his vehicle on Route 11.
His blood alcohol content was listed as 0.17 percent. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.
■ Scott A. Danforth, 41, of 5770 Swiss Road, Castorland, was charged by state police at 1:45 a.m. on Route 126, Croghan, after being observed speeding. His BAC was measured at 0.15 percent.
■ Scott A. Stephenson, 39, of 20169 County Route 16, Watertown, was charged by state police at 10:54 p.m. Wednesday with driving while intoxicated after he was stopped on Waddingham Road in the town of LeRay. He was also ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign. His blood alcohol content was 0.09 percent, troopers said. The state limit for DWI is 0.08 percent.
■ Hector Vargas, 24, of 148 Main St., was charged by city police on Thursday with DWI, speeding and failure to keep right at about 1:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Arsenal Street.
■ Kevin R. Whitmore, 29, of Evans Mills, was charged by state police at 1:33 a.m. Friday on Route 3 in the town of Leray with aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was also issued tickets for failure to keep right, unsafe lane change, driving on the shoulder of the road and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle. His BAC was 0.19 percent, troopers said. A motorist can be charged with the more serious charge of aggravated DWI if the BAC is more than 0.18 percent.
