Black River woman charged with taking items from Walmart

A Black River woman was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and petit larceny after she allegedly took several items from the Walmart Supercenter, Route 11, town of LeRay.

State police said Amanda S. Johnson, 31, of 29822 Route 3, Lot 10, took a chain saw, an air conditioner and a two cases of Bud Light, valued at $505.72, on Wednesday.

Ms. Johnson was charged at 12:15 p.m. Friday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where she already was being held on a probation violation. She received an additional appearance ticket for LeRay Town Court.
