RENSSELAER FALLS — The village Board of Trustees, which heads one of the smallest villages in St. Lawrence County, unanimously adopted its 2013-14 budget April 8 with a $112 tax levy increase.

The budget is $228,628, an increase of $22,704 from the 2012-13 budget of $205,924.The tax levy will increase from $28,852 to $28,964.

The tax rate will hold steady at $4.10 per $1,000 of assessed property value.

The village’s sewer rate also will remain the same at $110 per unit quarterly.
