Jefferson Community Colleges Health and Wellness Center will host an Out of the Darkness 3-mile walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday at the college, 1220 Coffeen St.
The public is invited to participate. Walkers may sign up at 9 a.m. the day of the event in the McVean gymnasium lobby.
The AFSP supports research to enhance understanding and prevention of suicide. Over the past 11 years, AFSP has awarded more than $20 million in grants.
