Many thanks to each and everyone who attended or supported the Canton Senior Citizen Spring Bazaar making it another successful year.

Congratulations to Lottery Tree winner Cheryl Sharlow; 50/50 drawing, Rod LaBlanc; Raffle winners Anna Fifield (Terry McKendree chainsaw carved dog), Betty Fifield ($50 cash-St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union), John Thurber ($50 cash-SeaComm), Betty Tuttle ($50 Stewarts gas card), Linda Suckow ($50 Price Chopper grocery card), Alan Merrill (Scott Auto Wash/Wax by Larry Martin), Mary Simon ($40 dinner for two at Best Western), and Door prize winners Bettye Green ($40 Linda’s Hairstyling gift certificate), Carol Durham ($25 Save A Lot gift certificate), Bev O’Brien (half gallon Hurlbut’s maple syrup) along with approximately 100 Silent Auction winners.

Special thanks to Terry McKendree, Larry Martin, Stewart’s Price Chopper, St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union, SeaComm, and Best Western for your donations to our Raffle Drawing and to Jeff Proulx, Rich Finnerty, Linda Suckow, and Diane and Art Hurlbut for your donations to the Door Prizes. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Special thanks also to Pepsi Cola (soda), Bouyea’s (some rolls), Walmart (hot dogs and hamburgers), Gail Bisonette (Glazier hot dogs), and several club members for the homemade donuts, apple pies, chili, and soup.

A “Big” thank you too all the businesses and people for their generous support of donations to our Silent Auction. With the way the economy is right now, we are truly appreciative. People look forward to this each year making it a “big hit.” Great job Roxann Koch, Sue Denesha and Diane Sayer for taking this on this year.

We greatly thank Community Bank, North Country Savings Bank, Stewart’s, Kinney’s, Potsdam Save A Lot, and Potsdam IGA for allowing the seniors to sell tickets for our drawings at your businesses. Special thanks also the club members who took the time to sell tickets on their own.

Paul Mitchell, each year we are forever thankful to you for your continuous great support and caring in getting the word out to the public.

Sincere thanks to my very “Special Senior Club Members.” Again this year, I feel blessed and so very thankful for your continuous loyal support, hard work, and dedication that makes the Bazaar a hugh success. You all contribute in many ways.

It’s all deeply appreciated!

Sincere thanks,

Myrtle Regan
