CANTON – A sure sign that spring has sprung is the upcoming St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s 23rd annual Antique & Artisan Show and Sale.

Antique dealers and artisans are signing up for the show, and sale which will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

A total of 35 antique dealers and artisans from all over the north country have registered for booth space.

Sponsored by Blanchard’s Auction Service, Potsdam and Mort Backus & Sons, Ogdensburg, the SLCHA’s 23rd annual Antique & Artisan Show and Sale will be held at Canton’s McKenney Middle School, 99 State Stt. Vendors from St. Lawrence, Franklin, Lewis, and Essex Counties will have a wide variety of interesting and unique items on hand. There is ample free parking at the school.

A $3 donation for admission lets you wander among the antique dealers and artisans, allows you the opportunity to bid in the silent auction, and even lets you buy a gourmet luncheon and dessert. Chances on the double size quilt Clarissa Wright’s Garden, which will be raffled off at the 23rd annual Antique & Artisan Show and Sale, will be available. This quilt was created by Tellie Bray with fabric from the Quilters Quorum of Potsdam and features an original block Starry Blossom. The quilt is hand pieced, hand quilted, and was donated to the SLCHA for raffle. You do not need to be present to win.
