GreenIT founder keynote speaker for North Country Tech Symposium


POTSDAM - Richard Hodges, founder and CEO of GreenIT,will keynote the North Country Technology Symposium, June 5 in Potsdam.

In his 25 year consulting career, Mr. Hodges has developed a unique breadth and depth of experience in the technology, energy, and real estate industries. Starting with involvement in alternative building and environmental issues in the 1970’s, through an MBA program focused on alternative energy development, into a business career in that has included consulting for utilities, real estate developers, and a broad variety of public and private sector clients, he has established himself as a leading expert in the integration of ICT systems and buildings to enable sustainable development.

Mr. Hodges has extensive, hands-on experience in leading and managing strategy, research, business process change, policy development and technology implementation projects. With a deep background in financial and economic analysis, he also has substantial expertise in business case development.

Presentations at this year’s symposium are focused on assisting professionals from small business, agriculture, education, community service, healthcare, and local governments expand their use of IT and gain a greater understanding of the technology available.

Topics being presented at this year’s symposium include sustainability and green technology, cloud computing, mobile apps, data protection/network security, video applications, IT in the workplace - telecommuting, digital adoption, social media policies, and many more! Whether you are a novice or an expert, the symposium provides a chance to learn from experts, talk to service providers and network with colleagues.
