OBSTRUCTED VIEW - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Michelle C. Thompson, 21, of Brothers Road, Massena, for operation of a vehicle with an obstructed view at 12:15 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Main Street.

WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Johnnie M. Eldredge, , 43, of 60 Liberty Ave., Massena, on a warrant held by the Ogdensburg City Police Department at 9:45 p.m. Thursday on the Parker Avenue bridge. He was turned over to Ogdensburg City Police.

LOCAL LAW VIOLATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Codi Burke, 21, of 15 Haskell St., Massena, with a local law violation at 9:14 p.m. Thursday on Haskell Street. He was reportedly disrupting traffic by playing basketball in the street.

UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Sonya M. Snyder, 29, of County Route 46, Massena, for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 4:10 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Main Street.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Kendra L. Denny and Brittany N. Conant, 20, of Ogdensburg with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 1:05 p.m. Thursday at the Potsdam Walmart.

ISSUING BAD CHECK - POTSDAM - Village police charged Edward S. Thompson, 52, of Colton with three counts of issuing a bad check and picked him up on a bench warrant from Potsdam Village Court alleging he had failed to appear as directed on an aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle charge.

Information was received that Thompson was in Ogdensburg, and a Potsdam patrol responded and took him into custody.The checks written by Thompson totaled $88.70, police said.He was arraigned in Potsdam Town Court and released under the supervision of the probation department.
