MALONE — Shawn Clark lined four hits, including two doubles, to lead the Potsdam baseball team to a 7-3 win over Malone in an Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game on Friday.

Brandon Noble added two hits, including a double, and drove in four runs for the Sandstoners (6-2 overall, 5-1 division). Malone fell to 2-2 and 2-1.

OFA 8, MASSENA 0

Breton LaRose struck out 10 to lead OFA past the Red Raiders (2-3, 1-2) in a Central Division game in Massena.

Pat Cosmo doubled twice for the Blue Devils (3-1). Andrew Cole also produced two hits for OFA. Isiah Dillabough led Massena with two hits.

GOUVERNEUR 8, CANTON 2

Matt Ashley drove in two runs with a triple and also singled to send the Wildcats (1-2, 1-1) past Canton in a Central Division game in Gouverneur.

Matt Waugh singled twice for Gouverneur. Alex Hayes struck out 11 for Canton (0-5). Johnny Stone produced three hits and Bryant Wentworth added two.

MORRISTOWN 8, EDWARDS-KNOX 3

Luke King doubled and singled to help Morristown (4-2) defeat the Cougars in a West Division contest in Russell.

Jacob Fox also produced two hits for the Green Rockets. Kaden Dandrow and Devin Sharlow each singled twice for the Cougars (2-3).

BRUSHTON-MOIRA 5, MADRID-WADDINGTON 1

Brushton-Moira (3-2) scored four runs in the fifth inning to pull ahead in an East Division win over the Yellow Jackets in Madrid.

Alex Burnett struck out six for the Panthers. Adam Martin, Zach Burnett, Bobby Hooker and Alex Burnett each singled twice for the Panthers.

James Hunt struck out eight for Madrid-Waddington (2-2).

SOFTBALL

NORWOOd-NORFOLK 3, ST. LAWRENCE 1

Nikki Fregoe drove in two runs with a first-inning double to lead the Flyers (3-1) past St. Lawrence Central in a North Division game in Norwood.

Carly Weaver singled twice for Norwood-Norfolk. Lindsay Thayer struck out nine for the Larries (2-1). Hailey Agan lined two singles for SLC.

BRUSHTON-MOIRA 14, MADRID-WADDINGTON 4

Kenzi O’Connor struck out 10 to lead Brushton-Moira past the Yellow Jackets (1-3) in a North Division contest in Madrid.

O’Connor also drove in three runs with a double in the fourth inning for the Panthers (4-2).

EDWARDS-KNOX 16, MORRISTOWN 1

Harleigh LeBarge tripled, singled and drove in three runs to send the Cougars (4-1) past Morristown in a West Division game in Russell.

Makayla Bacon struck out eight for Edwards-Knox. Bacon, Mackenzie hall and Mollee Burgher each added two hits.

Samantha Green singled twice for Morristown (0-6).

MALONE 15, POTSDAM 0

Alissa McCauley threw a five-inning, no-hitter in her second varsity start to lead the Huskies past Potsdam (1-4) in a Central Division game in Malone.

It was the second no-hitter of the season for McCauley, who also threw one last week against OFA.

McCauley finished with 11 strikeouts.

Brooke Collins and Erin McDonald each doubled and tripled for the Huskies (4-0).
