CANTON — The St. Lawrence Central boys lacrosse team used a second-half run to defeat Canton, 10-5, in a Northern Athletic Conference game on Friday night at SUNY Canton.

The Larries (6-1 overall and division) went on a 6-2 run in the second half, including a 3-0 spurt in the third quarter.

Lucas Arquiett led the Larries with four goals and four assists.

Ian Lynch also scored for goals and Marshall Burninghausen added two goals.

Jack Elberty scored twice for Canton (5-2).

SARANAC LAKE 8, OFA 6

Josh Stevens and Seth Pickering each scored three goals to send Saranac Lake (2-5) past the Blue Devils in Ogdensburg.

Nick Perrigo led OFA (2-5) with three goals.

Jake Garrison, Andy Roddy and Jared Berg also scored for the Blue Devils.

GIRLS LACROSSE

CANTON 13, NORTHWOOD PREP 7

Lacey Kenny scored four times to send the Golden Bears (4-2) past the Northwood Prep School in a nonleague game in Canton.

Katie Lapinski scored three goals with three assists and Emily Pinckney added two goals for Canton.

Rachel Huntley scored one goal and assisted on three.
