UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Michael A. Patell, 18, of Ballston Lake with unlawful possession of marijuana at 7:43 p.m. Saturday on Pierrepont Avenue.

OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Spencer G. Wakefield, 19, of Cohasset, Mass., with having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle on a public highway at 7:43 p.m. Saturday on Pierrepont Avenue. He was a passenger in a vehicle and had an open container of an alcoholic beverage, police said.

UNNECESSARY NOISE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Robert J. Thomas, 23, of Greenville and Zachary A. McKinley, 23, of Watertown with unnecessary noise - stereo at 8:30 p.m. Saturday after police responded to a noise complaint on Walnut Street.
