MASSENA - A New York City man wanted for his alleged role in a home invasion in Massena earlier this month was located Sunday in the Capital Region.
Village police said Jevar Sturridge, 20, of 16912 7th Avenue, Queens, was picked up on an arrest warrant for second-degree burglary following a traffic stop Sunday in Schenectady.
Sturridge is alleged to have entered a residence at 27 1/2 Spruce St. at 3:30 p.m. April 11 in an incident that village police have described as a home invasion. Patrick Lloyd of 16 Haskell St., Massena, was charged with second-degree menacing in connection with that same incident.
Sturridge was arraigned by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
