Steve A. Bush, 85, of NYS Route 11, Watertown, formerly of Glenfield, died Saturday morning, April 27, 2013 at his home.

A funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Glenfield, with Rev. Christopher Carrara, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Brantingham Cemetery.

There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.

Surviving are his wife of over 63 years, Dolores; a son and daughter-in law, Bradley and Doris Bush of Hilton, NY, a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Bush-Roe and Eugene Roe of Salisbury, NC, three grandchildren, Betsy, Michael and Lisa; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by two brothers, Frank Bush Jr. and James Bush; and five sisters, Elizabeth Etta, Rose and Anna Bush, Maryann Bailey and Bertha Boucher.

Steve was born on February 22, 1928 in the town of Greig, NY, a son of the late Frank and Grace Dlubach Bush and graduated from General Martin School in 1945. On November 4, 1949, he married Dolores H. Rhone at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Greig, NY. He worked for Georgia Pacific in Lyons Falls for 38 years, retiring in 1985.

He was a longtime member of the Boonville Elk’s and was a former communicant and trustee of St. Mary’s Church, Glenfield and St. Thomas Church, Greig.

He and Dolores currently attend Mass at the Monastery and St. Patrick’s Church in Watertown.
