PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police charged Edward L. Gonyeau IV, 23, of Potsdam with petit larceny at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday following an investigation into the March 13 theft of medications from a local store. Video footage was reviewed, and police said Gonyeau was observed on the footage stealing the medications. Paperwork was filed with the village court as Gonyeau was out of the area. He turned himself in on the arrest warrant Tuesday at the Potsdam Police Department.

NUISANCE DOG - POTSDAM - Village police charged Mary F. Boyd, 54, of Potsdam with having a nuisance dog at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday on Main Streetafter her dog jumped a fence and became involved in a fight with another dog. A person attempting to break up the fight was bitten on the hand.

CROSSWALK VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Nicole K. Richard, 18, of Antwerp for passing through a pedestrian crossway with a pedestrian in the crosswalk following a traffic stop at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street.

1155 Served criminal summons on Edward Gonyeau IV for petit larceny.

1255 Received a call of possible child neglect.

1322 Served Mary Boyd a ticket for nuisance dog.

1407 Assisted an individual in getting a handicap parking permit.

1420 Received a report of a subject picking through a garbage dumpster at a local business. The business provided a plate number of the vehicle driven by the subject and requests a patrol request contact the owner and ask them to stop getting in the dumpster.

1424 Received a call from a subject reporting a motorcycle is parked in a handicapped spot without a proper permit. A patrol was dispatched to ticket same.

1500 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call at SUNY Potsdam.

1528 Assisted another agency with a background check.

1554 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call

1554 Subject entered the station to report her debit card number was used without her permission at a location in Texas.

1620 Property found by a resident was turned into the station.

1825 Traffic stop. Ticket issued.

1840 Patrol responded to an accident in the Prosh Lot.

1908 A student ID card was located by a citizen and turned into the PD.

1928 Received a report of subjects trespassing on a roof of a downtown building.

2028 Received a report of loud music on Market Street. Patrol responded.
