To The Editor:
Governor Andrew Cuomo has proclaimed May 8 as National Health Care Auxilian Day in New York state to recognize the dedicated auxilians who annually donate more than five million hours of service to their health care facilities and to their communities.
On behalf of Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and myself, I would like to personally thank our own Auxiliary membership for their hard work and dedication to the medical center over the past year. This fantastic group of women really knows what team work is all about. They have generously volunteered over 12,000 volunteer hours in 2012. It is very heartwarming to receive this kind of support among our community. No matter the task, they are always there when called upon.
Happy National Auxilian Day on May 8. It is my pleasure to work with such a dedicated and giving group of women. Thanks again for all that you do for Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and our community!
