OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Sean O. Donohue, 19, of Bolton Landing with an open container violation, littering and unauthorized use of a license at 1:34 a.m. Friday on Market Street. Police said they observed Donahue with an open container on Market Street and when he saw the officers he threw the beverage on the ground. Donahue also found to be in possession of a fake ID.



DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Jay M. Appleton, 31, of Curwensville, Pa., with driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for avoiding traffic control device at 3:30 a.m. Friday in the Big Lots parking lot. Police said they made the traffic stop after they observed Appleton avoid the traffic control device at Market Street and May Road by cutting through the Big Lots parking lot.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Darcy A. Bronchetti, 22, of Potsdam with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop on Market Street. She was arraigned by Potsdam Village Justice Nicholas Pignone and released under the supervision of the probation department. Police said Bronchetti’s operating privileges had been suspended after she failed to answer a summons in the village of Potsdam court,



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATON - POTSDAM - Village police charged Aaron J. Taillon, 24, of Norfolk with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with an unsafe tire following a traffic stop at 10:45 a.m. Friday on Market Street.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Karen E. Farley, 56, of Spokane, Wash., with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed her for failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in the crosswalk at 9:28 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Main Street.



OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Alberto Weissenberger, 19, of Carthage with an open container violation and unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21 at 11:24 p.m. on Pierrepont Avenue. Police said they observed Weissenberger walking on Pierrepont Avenue with an open container of an alcoholic beverage and upon further investigation found he was under the legal age of 21 for alcohol possession.



UNSAFE TIRE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Devin M. Chambers, 24, for operating a motorcycle with an unsafe tire following a traffic stop at 10:45 a.m. Friday on Market Street.



AVODING INTERSECTION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Nathan W. Konte, 23, for avoiding an intersection at 1:20 p.m. Friday after they reportedly observed his vehicle cut through the Big Lots parking lot to avoid the traffic control device on May Road at Market Street.



UNSAFE LANE CHANGE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed George F. Jerome. 69. for moving from lane unsafely following a stop at 1:21 p.m. Friday on Market Street.



RED LIGHT VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Marianna C. Mazzoni, 24, for a red light violation at 8:30 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Sandstone Drive at Market Street.



CROSSWALK VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Miles A. Priore, 23, for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk at 9:27 p.m. Friday on Main Street.



STOP SIGN - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Tyler J, Barnier, 20, for a stop sign violation at 10:33 p.m. Friday on Walnut at Market Street.



CROSSWALK VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Djibri; Ba, 31, for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk at 10:50 p.m. Friday on Main Street.
