Funeral Service for Glenndon Moncrief, age 79, will be held Monday, May 6, 2013 at 10:00AM at Frary Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Calling hours will be held from 9:00AM until the time of the funeral. Burial will take place at Lisbon Cemetery following the services. Mr. Moncrief passed away Friday May 3, at Riverledge Nursing Home.

Mr. Moncrief is survived by his wife Jean, two sons Homer and Dale, two Daughters Martha Lawrence and Dorean Beaulieu all of Ogdensburg, step children April Brothers of Rensselaer falls Falls, Mark Addison of North Carolina, Allen Addison, fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and one step great-grandchild. He is also survived by two sisters Lula Poore, Elsie Poore, one brother Dean Moncrief of Central Square, and a sister-in-law Beverly Morley. Mr. Moncrief was predeceased by one brother George Moncrief and a son, Eric.

Mr. Moncrief was born in Lisbon, NY on December 2, 1933 the son of Homer and Pearl Alt Moncrief. He attended local schools. He first married Mariel Murphy August 1954. She predeceased him on September 1987. He then married Jacqueline Blackmer on August 7, 1998. She predeceased him on March 7, 2003. He married Jean Frazier on October 16, 2009. Mr. Moncrief was retired from St. Lawrence Highway Dept. where he was a paver operator for 39 years.
