SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Tynan J. Garrett, 23, of Canton for speed in zone (49/30) at 11:44 p.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.

FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Anne M. Snell, 33, of Potsdam for failing to yield right of way at a stop sign at 4:44 p.m. Monday following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Pine and Lower Pine streets.

1059 Complaint received about dump-trucks using Morningside Drive as their route to the SUNY Potsdam construction site. Patrol spoke with the supervisor, who will redirect traffic.

1154 Record checks for completed for NYSP Gouverneur on individuals who have applied for a NYS pistol permit.

1644Motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Pine and Lower Pine streets. Anne M. Snell, age 33 of Potsdam, was issued a traffic summons for Failing to yield right of way at a stop sign; returnable in Potsdam Village Court on 5/24 at 0800.

1647Potsdam Rescue paged to respond to SUNY campus.

1725 Noise complaint on Elm Street.

1736 Patrol dispatched to assist a local business.

1745 Report of vehicles parked on both sides of Washington Street making it impossible to drive down.Patrol responded.Vehicles were moved without incident.

1920 Missing cat: Sal is a 10-year old cat, tiger striped on top and white on the bottom. Wearing a purple flea and tick collar. Last seen on May 4 in the vicinity of Lawrence Avenue. If located, please notify Potsdam Police Department.

1957 Received a report of a possible intoxicated driver heading toward Potsdam on US Highway 11 from Canton. Patrols responded and were unable to locate the vehicle.
