Police: Watertown woman punched and shattered a window

Martika T. Poindexter, 20, of 1729 Burns Ave., was arrested by city police at 4:47 p.m. Tuesday at 400 Mill St. on a charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

According to the police report, Ms. Poindexter punched a window in a door belonging to Kari L. Farrington, 1721 Burns Ave., causing it to shatter. The alleged offense occurred May 4.

Ms. Poindexter was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where she was processed and held pending arraignment Wednesday in City Court.
