Tuesday Kiwanis baseball/softball


Buster’s, Source Capital and Cope Consultants scored wins on the Kiwanis diamonds on Tuesday.


Buster’s 8 - Hammond 0: Kaleb Spears, Derek Barr and Tristan Lovely pitched the victory and Derek Barr Tristan Lovely and Tanner Ritchie belted homeruns. Ethan Graveline and Drew Castello both contributed a double and an RBI and Aiden Amo and Kaleb Spears both stroked singles.

Hammond players Kane Marshall and Cody Howard singled.

Source Capital 4, Grays Gun Shop 1: Ben LaRock (9K’s) and Jordan Sawyer (5K’s) pitched the victory. Ben LaRock finished at 3-3 with a two run homerun and two singles while Miles Gendebein, Dawson Olmstead, Jack LaRock and Jacob Skeels all had hits. Jayden Carr provided a great game defensively at first base.

Griffen Walker (8K’s) and Hayden McBath (6K’s) pitched for Grays Gun Shop. Marissa Robinson, Kamdyn Johnson, Teagan Jordan, Eric Rowe, and Hayden McBath all hit safely. Storm Walker provided a strong defensive effort behind the plate.


COPE Consultants 23, NPS 15: Gabby Kroeger lead COPE with a grand slam homerun and a single with Caysie Lampett, Abigail Wilhelm, Annah Burdick and Hannah Braun adding two singles. Stephanie Skeeles also added a single and Hope Walker and Amanda Walker provided strong pitching performances.

Julia Lemieux hit a bases-clearing triple for NPS and Eliza Martin and Lemieux lead NPS on the mound.
