It was sign of quickly learning softball.

Claire Rishe of Julie’s Dance Studio caught a ball at shortstop and wasted little time to double off a runner at firstbase guarded by Teeghan Bell in a victory over NPS on Thursday evening, on the eve of her 12th Birthday (May 10th).

Rishe is playing her first competitive season in softball.

Rileigh Planty lined three doubles and pitched the win with Natalie Crofut. Bell had two hits while Jordan Sweeney also punched a timely hit. Eliza “Four Leaf Clover” Martin delivered a double and asingle for NPS and Julie Lemieux connected for two hits.
